Whisperit's AI Assistant (BETA) is a powerful feature designed to help legal professionals with various tasks. The assistant comes in three specialized types, each optimized for different use cases.
Overview of AI Assistant Types
1. New Chat
Start a new chat from scratch for general conversations and queries. This is your go-to option when you need:
General assistance with legal writing
Brainstorming ideas
Free-form conversations about legal concepts
Custom requests that don't fit into specific categories
2. Legal Research
Comprehensive insights with clear citations for complex legal matters. Use this assistant when you need:
In-depth legal research with proper citations
Analysis of complex legal issues
Detailed explanations with supporting references
Thorough investigation of legal precedents
3. Quick Legal Lookup
Fast, concise guidance for straightforward legal questions. This is perfect for:
Quick answers to simple legal questions
Fast clarification on legal terms

How to Access the AI Assistant
Click on Assistant in the left sidebar
Choose the type of assistant that best fits your needs
Type your question in the "What can I help you with?" field
Use the microphone icon for voice input or dictation if preferred
Additional Features
Save and Load Prompts: You can save frequently used prompts and load them later for efficiency.
Add Content: Use the + button to add additional context or documents to your query.
Customize Your Assistant: Go to Settings > AI Settings to personalize how your AI assistant works, including setting your role, jurisdiction, and preferences.
