Audio Settings Overview
Proper audio configuration is essential for effective voice dictation in Whisperit. The Audio Settings page allows you to select and configure your microphone and speakers to ensure clear recording and playback.
Accessing Audio Settings
Click on your user menu or settings icon
Navigate to Settings
Select Audio Settings from the settings menu
The Audio Settings page will display your microphone and speaker options
Configuring Your Microphone
Selecting Your Microphone:
Go to Settings > Audio Settings
Find the "Microphone" dropdown menu
Click on the dropdown to see all available microphone devices
Select your preferred microphone from the list
Your selection will be saved automatically
Microphone Options: • Built-in microphone (laptop or desktop) • External USB microphones • Headset microphones • Wireless Bluetooth microphones • Professional audio interfaces
